Meet the Artist -

My paintings, many of which are abstract expressionist works, are characterized by a diverse palette of applied vibrant, unique colors and textures. With an eye for quality workmanship and modern design, I create one of a kind compositions enhanced by the use of organic shapes, windows and patterns that will arouse thoughts and sensibilities. Inspired a great deal by nature, I enjoy traveling to gain further inspiration from the outdoors and a large reason why I love to hand build each of my own canvases; stretching and priming each individual piece. Though I earned a college degree in art when I lived in California, art has always been a part of my life and has grown from a dream to an interest to a hobby to a passion. It puts me in a mindset of peace and tranquility which I refer to as the "Artist's Zone." I have developed my own style and approach resulting from my life experiences, thoughts and feelings. Each original work contains its own identity and is a representational piece of my personal evolution. Upon your exploration through the various works of wall art, I'm confident that you will find yourself intrigued, engaged and inspired upon each gaze. For me, creating art is a process as much as it is a result. A William Dobell quote I appreciate is, "A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in itself, a living thing."
